À Sainte-Geneviève, le 5 janvier 2023 est décédée à l’âge de 88 ans, Marie Venita Samson Ratté épouse de feu M. Malcolm Ratté.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Paul (Michelle Barsketis), Marc (Janice Murray), et Nadine (Stephen Renaud), ses petits-enfants Courtney et Mélissa Ratté, Steven et Alex Ratté, Jack, Layla et Joseph Renaud, et ses arrière-petits-enfants Emily et Silas. Elle laisse aussi plusieurs neveux, nièces, et amis.

Vous pourrez offrir vos condoléances à la famille le samedi, 6 mai de 13 h à 15 h au Centre Culturel le Vitrail, 1254 Rue Ste Marthe, Thetford Mines, suivi d’une célébration de vie et réception.

Marie Venita Samson Ratté passed away peacefully on January 5, 2023, in Sainte-Geneviève at 88 years of age. Venita was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Malcolm Ratté.

Venita was born in Saint-Romuald, Quebec in 1934.  She was the daughter of Onésime Samson et Médora Blais.

She leaves behind her children Paul Ratté and his wife Michelle of Brooklin, Ontario, Marc Ratté and his wife Janice of Beaconsfield QC and Nadine Ratté and her husband Stephen of Thetford Mines, QC. Loving grandmother of Courtney and Melissa Ratté, Steven and Alex Ratté and Jack, Layla and Joseph Renaud. Cherished great grandmother of Emily and Silas. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. Venita was predeceased by her parents as well as her brothers and sisters.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the Centre Culturel Le Vitrail, 1254 Rue Ste Marthe, Thetford Mines, from 1pm to 3pm. A Celebration of Life and reception will follow.
